Broadleaf Books is owned and run by Joanna Chambers. In the book trade for about 15 years, from a childrens bookstall in Abergavenny market, to being the first shop to open as part of Blaenavon book town, to her present location in the centre of Abergavenny.

Joanna has built up the shop's stock and reputation over the years as well as maintaining a profitable online business. Her love of books, dedication to customers needs and personal touch give Broadleaf Books a loyal customer base and leaves new visitors wanting more.

Favourite subjects include photogaphy and natural history, as well as a love for wood cuts. Her passion for books can often be seen in her reticence to let a beautiful one leave the shop!
